Cakes and Catering

 

Our cake making began in lockdown, with restrictions making it too complicated to produce a two course meal for the workforce, whilst maintaining a socially distanced kitchen. However, we then had some very talented cooks kicking their heels, and started experimenting with baking.

 

We now have a small, but perfectly formed, cake business. Our (not so) secret ingredient, is, as always, our very talented co-workers, who have, excuse the pun, totally risen to the challenge.

  • We can make cakes for collection on every weekday, please order the day before you would like to pick up.

  • Cakes can be collected from our site between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm on your chosen day. Both entrances will be open, via the road or through the Country Park.

  • Payment can be made by card or cash on collection.

  • Place your order below, and let us know when you would like to call in.

 

Please note, our cakes are made in a kitchen where nuts & other allergens are handled.

We cannot guarantee our products will be totally allergen free.

Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake

This is an absolute classic loaf cake, a light and zesty lemon sponge, glazed with a crunchy lemon drizzle sugar frosting.

A gorgeous, light sponge topped with a creamy, buttery, coffee-flavoured icing. Great as an afternoon treat or a celebration cake.

Blueberry and Lime Loaf

This blueberry loaf with a hint of lime and our favourite cream cheese icing, is always the first to sell out when we present it at our catering events. A perfect sweet treat to have with a cup of tea.

Chocolate Cake

A favourite cake with our co-workers here at Phoenix and sure to be finished up in double quick time. Decorated with chocolatey icing and added sweet treats. Victoria Sponge Cake

A traditional sandwich cake is always a winner. Sweet raspberry jam and soft buttercream sandwiched between two light sponge cakes, with a dusting of powdered icing sugar, what’s not to love? (We may also be able to make this with fresh cream upon request.)
