We have been making cakes for almost a year and are delighted to announce our trial offering them to a wider audience. Cakes need to be pre-ordered and can be collected from Phoenix in Milton on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 2 and 3 pm.
Our cake making began in lockdown, with restrictions leaving it too complicated to produce a two course meal for the workforce, whilst maintaining a socially distanced kitchen. However, we then had some very talented cooks kicking their heels, and started experimenting with baking cakes. Fast forward for eighteen months, and we now have a small (but perfectly formed) cake business.
Our (not so) secret ingredient, is, as always, our very talented co-workers, who have, excuse the pun, totally risen to this new challenge!
