We charge a daily fee of £45 per day for all work placements. If trainees would like to take the Employability qualification this costs an annual one-off charge of £30.
Fees can be covered by schools or from personal budgets and are invoiced monthly in arrears.
A two course lunch, cooked with the help of trainees, is available. We ask for £3.50 donation per day, if this option is taken, to cover costs. Lunches can be paid either monthly by invoice or daily in cash.

Why do we charge a fee?
Phoenix is a registered charity employing 5 staff to provide our trainees with safe and supportive transitional experiences and life skills. Other than these costs, we also have the cost of raw materials, lease and maintenance.
What do you get for your fee?
At Phoenix we cater for each trainee’s personal development goals. As well as providing mentoring for social integration into the workforce, transitional life and vocational skills are also taught. These include preparation for independent living, health and safety, and basic numeracy and literacy, in a patient, supportive and family environment.
