David Cook (Joint Chair) trained as a building surveyor before joining his family firm of specialist plasterers in which he still has an active interest. He brings business and practical skills to Phoenix where he enjoys directly supporting trainees.
Norman Jones (Joint Chair) has considerable management experience having worked in the cement industry for over 40 years. He is a Trustee Director of the Rugby Group Benevolent Fund that has been a keen supporter of Phoenix (Milton) since its formation.
Charles Hobley (Treasurer) comes to the Phoenix (Milton) from a financial background as a Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience and is working to build on the community’s financial and governance foundations. The Trust is the first charity he has been involved with and he is enjoying being involved with a charity he feels inspired by.
Adrian Friend brings considerable leadership and management skills to the Trust having had a career of over 20 years as a commissioned officer in the British Army (Royal Engineers) before transitioning to the private sector, where he now runs a commercial business team in a global GIS mapping software company. Phoenix is the first charity Adrian has directly worked with in such a capacity, and he was motivated to get involved and help after seeing the great work the Trust does.
